Does the evaporator unit support modes like dry mode, fast cool mode, night/sleep mode?

Our IUs are designed to provide operating mode such as Dry, Fast Cooling and Sleep Mode to enhance optimal cooling needs.

Given the chiller plants are at the top of the blocks, will this open up the possibility of Legionella Bacteria spreading through the use of centralised cooling?

The centralised cooling system is compliant to NEA requirement for noise, vibration, and Legionella Bacteria. The water is confined in a closed circulating system and will NOT have direct contact with the air. The cooled air is produced locally in the indoor cooling unit located in each house, the same as current split unit in resident home. There is no “central” distribution of air

Reduction of Chilled Water Usage Rate and Additional Warranty for CCS Piping and Trunking

SP Group remains committed to delivering a reliable and energy-efficient cooling solution for our Centralised Cooling System (CCS) customers. To bring added value and cost efficiencies to CCS subscribers, the following updates will take effect on 1 April 2024.

From 1 April to 30 June 2024, the CCS Residential Chilled Water Usage Rate will be further reduced to S$0.122/kWrh (before GST), a decrease of 7.5% compared with the previous quarter. This rate is reviewed quarterly.

Customers who have collected or will be collecting keys on or before 31 December 2024 will enjoy an additional 6-month warranty covering CCS piping and trunking within their flat.

SP continues to work closely with our installation partner, Daikin, to ramp up resources in handling teething issues and workmanship challenges that impacted some of our customers. We have resolved a majority of the condensation issues, and our priority is to address and resolve all outstanding issues expeditiously.
